Reconcillation (Penance) and First Eucharist -

Students preparing for these sacraments must

Attend CCD for two years and attendance at the extra preparation classes is required before receiving these sacraments

Confirmation

Students preparing for this sacrament must

have had formal religious instruction during all of the elementary years and been an active member of a religious education program for grades 6, 7 and 8.  New parishoners need to show verification of attendance at other parisher/schools.

Students are taught lessons provided in their textbooks.  An awareness of the importance of prayer is an integral part of the classroom process.

Students will be required to attend additional classes involving the preparation for reception of the sacrament.

Baptism -

Parents must

be a registered member of our parish for 6 months and must attend a class.  You can sign up for this class by calling the rectory at 301-884-3123.

Marriage

The couple must

make an appointment with Father Alliata 6 months prior to wedding.
