"The Light is On For You" - Confession schedule, during Lent, is as follows:
Wednesday evenings from 7 PM—8 PM.
Friday evenings after the 7 PM Mass and Stations.
Saturday evenings after the 4 PM Mass until 5:30 PM.
2010 Annual Jubilarian Mass - the celebration of marriage honoring couples married 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50 or more years will be held on Sunday, June 6th @ 2:30 PM @ the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Archbishop Wuerl will preside at the Mass. Please call the parish office or use the sign up forms in the back of Church to register. Names of Jubilarian’s need to be turned into the rectory by Friday, April 16th.
Bring your Old Palms Back - Please bring your last year's palms and place in the box in the vestibule of the church. They will be burned and used for Ash Wednesday next year.
Parish Council Meeting - will be on Tuesday, March 9th @ 7 PM in the Parish Center.
Shining Armor Seeks Knight - Our parish's council of the Knights of Columbus supports many charities, events and groups locally and globally. But, our efforts only go as far as our membership allows. Men who are at least 18 years old are encouraged to meet our Knights this weekend after mass. Ask questions and learn how fulfilling it is to serve your
parish, community and God. Chances are there is a suit of armor that's waiting for you! Don't have time after mass?

A St. Patrick’s Day Dance is being held here @ Immaculate Conception in our Parish Center, on Saturday, March 13th from 7 to 11 P.M. Cost is $20 a person, or $40.00 a couple. The Parish Center is located right behind our church @ 28297 Old Village Road in Mechnaicsville.
Yard Sale - The next KOC indoor yard sale in the Church Hall is Saturday, March 13th beginning @ 8 AM. If you have any items to donate for the sale please place them in the Rectory Garage. If you like to rent a table, or have items to be picked up, please contact Dave Adams @ 301-884-2517.

Food Lion Community Rewards-Immaculate Conception Church is participating in the new Food Lion Community Rewards program to earn much needed funding for our parish center. We need your help and support to maximize our fundraising effort. We are encouraging you to shop at your local Food Lion store and every time you shop, the Church will earn a share of the program funds donated by Food Lion based on what you purchase.
To register, go to foodlion.com and click on MVP Rewards to link your Food Lion MVP card. Underneath the picture of the MVP card, click on Register your MVP card. Next click on "shoppers register here". Enter your MVP card #. Enter the Church's ID number which is 250113.Then enter your address, e-mail address (optional) and phone #. Then click on submit. McKay’s Gold Card Program - We will again participate in the exciting $60,000 Community Rewards Giveaway. We can earn a percentage of the $60,000 based on our Gold Card purchases. Support Immaculate Conception Church by signing up for the program and then simply use your Gold Card every time you shop. The program begins on October 1, 2009 and runs through April 30, 2010. At the end of the program, participating non-profit groups will share a percentage of the $55,000 based on total Gold Card purchases credited to them during the program. Additionally, the three non-profit groups with the most Gold Care purchases credited to them will share a $5,000 bonus reward. Last year, we just missed placing in the top three. We are hoping to win the top prize this year.

Our Church’s number is #4001.You can help the church just by doing your normal weekly food shopping. You will still qualify for sale items and your gas credit.
